CPS has finite resources. Every dollar we spend represents something else we may not be able to provide in a classroom.
That means the School Board has an obligation to ask hard questions about where public money goes.

I will prioritize investments in CPS-operated public schools and oppose efforts that weaken neighborhood schools by needlessly shifting resources, services, or decision-making away from the public system.

This isn't about protecting an institution for the sake of an institution. It’s about protecting the public promise behind it.

Public schools accept every child, belong to every community, and must remain accountable to the public.
